Subsequently he visited Paris, then returning to London where he worked in decoration and exhibited regularly at the Royal Society of British Artists. The painting features a female leaning against a fence within a colourful wooded area, the location is Combe Dingle, Bristol. The painting is approximately 14 1/2" by 10" excluding the frame and mount and 22" by 17" including the frame. In good condition, there is some crazing to the sky. A very nicely painted scene.
